Sheep Needle Felting Kit for Beginners
Sheep Needle Felting Kit for Beginners
Made in North Dakota, this Sheep Needle Felting Kit is from Bear Creek Felting, designed by fiber artist and shepherd Teresa Perleberg. This easy, beginner-friendly kit includes everything needed to make one curly white sheep — no sewing, knitting, or crocheting experience required. Farm-Raised, Premium Wool: Each kit features Bear Creek Premium Wool, grown and processed on Teresa’s North Dakota farm. Her flock has been selectively bred for over a decade to produce the best wool for needle felting — soft, dense, and perfect for shaping detailed, firm sculptures. Every step, from raising the sheep to processing the wool, is done in-house, ensuring the highest quality and a truly sustainable, pasture-to-product experience. What’s Included: Premium Bear Creek Felting Wool (white with curly texture), Two felting needles, Standard Foam Cushion 5" × 5" × 2", and Printed step-by-step instructions with full-color photos by Teresa Perleberg. The finished sheep measures approximately 4" × 4", depending on felting firmness, and takes about 3 hours to complete for beginners. Packaged in a sturdy, recyclable box, this kit is ideal for a premium made-in-the-USA creative kit with a genuine pasture-to-product story.
Recommended for ages 12+. Needle felting takes time and patience. Children should have a parent or other adult to guide them as they will be working with a sharp needle.
Teresa teaches needle felting and here is her blog post on children needle felting.
